Pitching competition

This year, FoT collaborated with Future Worlds to bring you the new Dragons Den Launchpad series, a series of events designed to aid students wanting to pitch their business idea at the Future Worlds Dragons Den event, where they have the opportunity to secure an investment from an impressive panel of judges.

Pitching Competition in the Launchpad series saw many students pitching their innovative ideas to judges consisting of FoT committee members, Future Worlds and Student Enterprise representatives, receiving invaluable feedback and questions to think about how to improve their idea and perfect their pitch before applying to FW Dragons Den.

Ideas from unmanned mountain rescue vehicles to recycling unused bread into beer were pitched, and one lucky participant/s were voted to have a Fish On Toast endorsement when applying to FW Dragons Den. Join us next year at this event to hear more of the incredible business ideas of students from our uni, or develop your idea and a pitch and it could be you up there!
